Springwater Cultural Inventory

The mandate of the Township of Springwater’s Cultural Advisory Committee is to celebrate and leverage the municipality’s unique cultural resources to build a shared identity and future prosperity.

To support this mandate, one initiative that the Committee is currently undertaking is to develop an inventory of artists, artisans, writers, musicians, and/or performers who are local to the Township of Springwater. The main goal of this inventory exercise is to promote the cultural assets of Springwater – all of you – our talented local artists, artisans, writers, musicians and performers.

Once an inventory is completed, this information will be made available to local community organizations to encourage them to consider enhancing their future events/programs with local talent. These community groups include:
• Committees of Council;
• Community Recreation Associations;
• Springwater Public Library;
• Elmvale BIA;
• Elmvale Maple Syrup Festival Committee;
• Flos Agricultural Society; and,
• Lions/Lioness Club.
